We are determined to see Africa enjoy the benefits of constant and reliable electricity and with the acquisition of ABB’s factory in Lagos, Nigeria, Shoreline Power, remains focused on expanding the manufacturing of electrical equipment for local and export purposes. We are consistently working to improve power generation and distribution across the continent. Our low and medium voltage products continue to enjoy market leadership. In Nigeria the company is setting up an Independent Power Plant (IPP) of 100MW in Agbara Estate, the largest privately owned industrial and residential estate in West Africa. Shoreline plants for building other small IPP’s all over Nigeria are at an advanced stage.
We have ongoing discussions in Sierra Leone to deploy a 30MW power plant, whilst a 20MW plant deployment in Monrovia, Liberia is at an advanced stage of negotiations.
Shoreline Powers’ capabilities include rural electrification projects, inter-town connectivity, building-in town distribution networks, planning feasibility studies, carrying out power audits and supplying and installing substations. Shoreline Power is in a strong position to lead, take on new challenges and sustain businesses within local or global market situations.
